Hi Friends!
I did what everyone told me to do...take a vacation!! not working(up until a couple of weeks go) enjoying the sunshine and getting caught up on a thing or two has been great! Summer is my favorite time of year so I haven't been working too hard. I finished my Polarity training (if you were at my closing party I had my Polarity mentor there giving demonstrations) it has been wounderful going back to school and finding another thing I love and have a natural ease with. I'm keeping my website, business cards and logo the same for now.... I don't want you to lose track of me!
During my daily errands and shopping, I have run into many customers... a little chit chat always comes around to 'do you miss the store?' Which my response is always " that I miss my customers, without a doubt" which leads me to...
As I promised I'm having an openhouse at the end of summer. THIS FRIDAY AUGUST 21 12-7 AND SATURDAY 22, 12-5...I'm not only going to have some of your old favorites, I'm going to have a fabulous intro special for my new polarity business. I'll operate the new business right out of my home, so I hope you come and take the tour and see how I've set it up. I debated greatly on how my first openhouse was going to go; for in past events I would have invited other companies or artists. For my first open house I felt it would be more intimate and relaxed to be just me and my guests ( plus a friend or two to help out) it may be small and quaint but my goal has always remained the same a place to shop, relax, be at home and have fun! who knew I would take it so literally!!
Quite a few of you came to the summer garage sale (thank you for making that a success) so you already know where I live. I will be opening up my home for much needed air conditioning comfort (and that personal touch!) I don't have a huge home but I asked my good friend Terri Reid who has this fatastic garden party in her home every year ..her expert advice. "no problem" plus she gave me a few helpful hints...thank you Terri!
I live off Okemos Rd behind the Merdian Mall. Jo Pass is a short cut to East Lansing and the Eastwood Town Center I'm conviently located so if you have other errands I'm probably on your way.
As always I will have light refreshments including my Grandma's ice tea and Mainstreet Winery's Sangriea... plus a couple of Wind and Willow's NEW baked cheesecakes ---a must sample delight!
